He has worked with thousands of patients during his renowned career and developed these pillars as a way to ensure that each patient gets the state-of-the-art care they need.

Who is Dr. Raymond Bonomo?
Dr. Raymond Bonomo is Cincinnati’s leading periodontist and founder of Bonomo Periodontics. He served as a faculty member at the University of Cincinnati’s Advanced Education General Dentistry Residency Program for over ten years before retiring from the position to focus on educating general dentist colleges in the Greater Cincinnati area.
Dr. Bonomo earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Kansas, a Doctorate of Dental Medicine Degree from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry, and a degree from the Periodontal Residency Program at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry (UIC).
Today, he leads three Spear Education study clubs and maintains active membership in the American Academy of Periodontology, the American Dental Association, the Cincinnati Dental Society, the Academy of Osseointegration, and more!
Additionally, Dr. Bonomo is renowned as an expert on the teeth-in-a-day procedure. This procedure replaces the patient’s original teeth with a new set of artificial teeth that are permanently fixed in their mouth and function the same as natural teeth, in just one visit.
Dr. Bonomo has been practicing for over 25 years and has spent a good portion of that time working in private practice at Bonomo Periodontics. As a second-generation doctor, Dr. Bonomo takes tremendous pride in his career and is sincerely proud to serve each one of his patients.

Cincinnati’s Teeth-In-A-Day Specialist
As Cincinnati’s leading expert in teeth-in-a-day procedures, Dr. Bonomo and the Bonomo Periodontics team often get questions regarding this procedure. While we are always here to answer your questions in person, sometimes it can be beneficial to learn a little more about the procedure before meeting our team.
Dr. Bonomo’s teeth-in-a-day procedure is a dental implant procedure that accomplishes just what it advertises. Patients walk into our office at the beginning of the day with their natural teeth and leave just a few short hours later with a new set of permanent artificial teeth.
Sometimes called four-on-four implants, Dr. Bonomo recommends this procedure for those with reoccurring oral health issues or those who are not happy with their current smile. Teeth-in-a-day procedures can replace your entire upper or lower set of teeth (or both) and create a permanent prosthesis that works just like natural teeth.
The key difference between permanent prosthetic teeth and dentures is that dentures can be removed and teeth-in-a-day implants cannot.
Before the procedure, Dr. Bonomo and our team will need to ensure that teeth-in-a-day is right for you. This process will start with an initial consultation, and an X-ray and 3D CT. Next, we will make a computer simulation and an anatomage table to get an accurate and detailed examination of your oral anatomy.
If we determine that you are a viable candidate for the teeth-in-day procedure, we will schedule your procedure where Dr. Bonomo will remove your failing teeth and replace them with your new permanent teeth.
Once the procedure is complete, the healing process will be short and varies slightly from patient to patient.
